Entrepreneurs, Dennis Philbin, Ruth Chamberlin, and Steven Oliveri, founded Mobile Bike Medic to provide mechanics with the opportunity to own their own bike repair business, with intent to keep more people riding their bikes more often. We started with house calls, but there had to be a more efficient way. Four years later, we now work with 40 communities with an average of 750 households per community. We have satisfied new and repeat customers year after year. We realized the demand for the service was is in many, many communities. More than we could possibly reach by ourselves. So, we’ve formulated systems, procedures, and operating guidelines to help our franchisees serve the demand and build a team, a family.
Lots of people buy bikes and stop riding them with the first flat or mechanical issue. Why? Because it’s a hassle.
We meant to fix that by bringing the bike repair shop to where the customers live and welcoming every customer with open arms. With customer satisfaction in mind, we made it simple and painless for the customer. And we fix and return 99% of the bikes the same day.
